The company has indicated that all Chameleon Oat Milk Lattes might be permanently discontinued. For more dairy-free latte options, see our Dairy-Free Creamy Beverage Reviews.
Chameleon Oat Milk Lattes are available in classic Original, Dark Chocolate, and Maple flavors year round, but they’re bundling up with some “warm” flavors for the winter season. From September through the holidays, you can also find multi-serve bottles of their Pumpkin Spice and Gingersnap creamy dairy-free cold brews.
As of 2017, Chameleon Cold-Brew is a Nestlé brand, and so far, the multinational corp seems to be keen on expanding their dairy-free product line. They do offer dairy-based lattes, but most of the Chameleon products are dairy-free. And those seasonal flavors are strictly plant-based.
Chameleon Oat Milk Lattes are Dairy-Free Cold Brews for All Seasons
Chameleon classifies the jolt of their Oat Milk Lattes as “slow and steady,” with 100 milligrams of caffeine per serving. Each flavor is made with low acid cold-brew, and blended with organic gluten-free oat milk and organic sugar for mild sweetness.

Potassium Citrate Burns Sensitive Throats
My throat was burned by the potassium citrate, kind of like people who take potassium can sound hoarse. The oat milk was alright, but I would add a little non-dairy creamer. I couldn’t find the caffeine content anywhere on the can, but I read online it’s 100mg, which seemed about right. It was tasty and a good deal, but if they’re going to supplement it with potassium, that’s not going to work for me.
Turned out to be good
I eyed this with some pessimism, as my SIL handed a bottle to me. It was ice cold as we were standing in the heat of Florida in August.
I chugged it, stopping long enough to get the mouthfeel and flavor. Both on point. Nice richly brewed coffee flavor with a hint of sweetness. If handed this blindfolded, I would have sworn it had cows milk in it. Glad it didn’t.
I rated them 4/5 after due consideration. My personal preferences are to support small businesses over multi-national corps. like Nestle, but this product hits some great markers for being certified organic, vegan, non-GMO, sustainably sourced and tasty!
Seems MNCorps are finding there is a market for doing things right.
