By Leah Moldowan on September 5, 2017 Dairy-Free Chocolate Reviews, Product Reviews

Not long ago, we tried and shared information about the new EatingEvolved Coconut Butter Cups. Just a few short years later, that humble little paleo brand has launched several other product lines, dropped the “eating” from their name, and revamped their confections. Those coconut butter cups are now known as Evolved Nut Butter Cups, and they come in an updated variety.

Leah originally bought the Banana Cream Coconut Butter Cup and Caramel & Sea Salt Coconut Butter Cup. She wasn’t a fan of the Banana Cream, but loved the Caramel & Sea Salt. The Caramel & Sea Salt exceeded my expectations! The filling was quite smooth and had a nice salty caramel taste. Overall, the chocolate, caramel, salt balance was delicious, and the coconut butter was quite complementary. And the filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. I would definitely enjoy these cups again and again! They do get a bit melty, so I recommend freezing them just before eating – that’s how I like them.

I scanned, but didn’t see corn, and that usually pops out since I’m allergic to it and dairy. I just want to verify, is there corn in this product?

      • Alisa Fleming on September 7, 2017 4:03 pm

Hi Amy, I don’t believe they contain corn, but you should definitely read the label / ingredients before purchase and check with the company on processes if potential cross contamination is a concern for you.
