The word hälsa is Swedish for “health,” so I’m not surprised by the quality of this new oat milk yogurt line. Halsa Oatgurt is the first of its kind to shun all enzymes and chemicals, typically used to alter the oats, during the manufacturing process. They also avoid added gums, emulsifiers, phosphates, and processed sugar.
“We cracked the code by developing a next generation manufacturing process that is 100% clean, and keeps all the nutritional benefits intact,” says Halsa’s president and co-founder Helena Lumme.
Halsa Oatgurt is the First Purely Organic Dairy-Free Oat Milk Yogurt
Some brands might use an organic ingredient or two, but Halsa is the first U.S. brand to release certified organic flavors. Halsa Oatgurt is made with simple foods, fermented with live cultures, and it contains no added sugars.

Awesome Yogurt - great replacement for Greek Yogurt!!!
If you have been looking for a great vegan yogurt – you do not need to look any further than this Halsa oatgurt yogurt! I am gluten, dairy and soy free and bought this oatgurt yogurt and discovered – happily that it tastes absolutely amazing!!! I do not normally leave reviews but I was totally blown away by its consistency and texture. It is the perfect blend of ingredients and I am going to start using it in baking in place of Greek yogurt and with fruit for a morning snack. I got no compensation for this review. Just hoping to inspire others to make some tasty, healthy changes in their lives.
Not a Fan
I was so excited to try this since it was organic, dairy-free, and no sugar, but it tasted absolutely horrible. I love the concept, but the taste was just so bad!
Best yet
I’m gluten free and try to be dairy free and look for products low in sugars. This yogurt finally has all three. I tried the mango and with no added sugars and still only 8 grams? Thank you halsa! I bought it at nutrition network in Winfield Illinois, and hope they keep it!!
great dairy free yogurt
My gold standard for a dairy free yogurt is that it have the look, mouthfeel and taste of dairy yogurt. Kind of what Beyond Beef is going for in the burger alternative space.
For the most part, Halsa (which I purchased at PCC Co-Op in Seattle) excels in every practically every regard. I don’t think you’d be able to tell the difference between their mango and a dairy yogurt mango.
The strawberry, in my opinion at least, needs work, with the oaty flavor crowding out the strawberry. I hope the product is new enough that it’s a work in progress and that the makers are open to feedback. I plan to try the other flavors soon.
