Alas, after just one year on the market, Kind Frozen Ice Cream has been discontinued. Fortunately, they still make Kind Frozen Bars and Smoothie Bowls. For frozen dessert pints still on the market, see our Dairy-Free Ice Cream Reviews.
What, Kind makes ice cream? Yes, in fact Kind Frozen Ice Cream pints began appearing in grocery stores a few months ago! You didn’t hear about it? That’s because Kind insists they aren’t “releasing” the new line until summer. They’re ignoring the buzz and the early store sightings, and waiting until they feel good and ready to make a formal announcement. But we did some reconnaissance, and uncovered the details on Kind’s full line of vegan almond milk pints.

Best Dairy-Free Ice Cream!
I’ve recently had to go dairy free. Much to my chagrin. I’m a huge ice cream fan, and finding an alternative that can even compare has been challenging. Most have that coconut aftertaste from the coconut milk or same with almond. These are creamy and taste just the same as regular ice cream! In addition, the amount of chocolate and nut chunks is generous! Definitely would recommend as an ice cream enthusiast!
Goodbye Cherry Garcia
Although not robustly “creamy”, Kind Cherry Cashew filled my mouth full of rich cherry, chocolate and cashew delights. I hardly noticed it wasn’t ice cream. The healthy composition will not be what drives my choice to replace my favorite Cherry Garcia with Kind Cherry Cashew! But you should mention the chocolate chips in the name!
3C Bomb! Yum.
Delicious!!
Loved the Caramel flavor, reminded me of Butter Pecan ice cream. Can’t wait to try the other flavors!
Tasteless. Not worth buying
It doesn’t taste of anything, while it’s loaded with calories and added sugar. Kind makes my favorite gf granola, but not my favorite “frozen dessert.”
WEIRD
I love kind bars and I chose the ice cream to match my favorite bar, dark chocolate sea salt. The texture was nice, it looked appealing, but the flavor was bizarre. It tried to be salty and it tried to be sweet, but somehow didn’t accomplish either, which made for an utterly confusing ice cream flavor.
