I think we all of our weak spot when it comes to cooking. Those conveniences that we just can’t resist buying sometimes. For me, it’s frozen waffles. Don’t ask me why – perhaps there is just something nostalgic and fun about them. So I’m always excited about dairy-free options in the breakfast section of the freezer aisle. My latest discovery is the new and improved Kinnikinnick Frozen Waffles.

More Allergen Notes
Kinnikinnick Frozen Waffles still have a ‘may contain‘ egg statement, because they do use eggs in other products, like their donuts. They are an allergy-friendly company, so they do employ allergen production processes and testing. But contact the company to discuss how they handle allergens if you do have an egg concern or other allergen concern. Only you can decide what is safe for your needs.

Dry and Inedible
My mom said they taste like waffles that were made last year and left out to dry. I didn’t believe her and tried them, I couldn’t even eat one before I threw the entire box in the garbage.
Gross
I’ve had gluten free waffles before, but these don’t taste like food. Bad texture. The smell is good, but it’s like eating something that’s not real food. Like plastic or something weird like that.
