Libre Naturals Granola Bars are Top 11 Allergen-Free

By Alisa Fleming on June 4, 2019 Dairy-Free Energy, Granola & Snack Bar Reviews, Product Reviews

No one is dedicated to food allergen safety more than Alana Elliott, the founder of Libre Naturals (formerly Nonuttin’). She wanted every child to be able to enjoy her snack foods, so she built her own dedicated top allergen-free facility. She’s also very careful about introducing new products. Which is why Libre Naturals Granola Bars have stood the test of time. These classic cereal bars still come in four kid-friendly flavors, just like they did more than a decade ago.

It’s worth sharing details about the Libre Naturals facility:

On February 1, 2015, we moved into a brand new building that was planned from the ground up with our very special needs in mind.  This means that none of the top 14 food allergens (as per the European list, encompassing all top allergens for both Canada and the USA), GMOs, animal by-products, preservatives, colors or artificial flavors have ever been in our dedicated production areas.  In addition to our production floor and office areas, we have specialized spaces for allergen testing, package storage and more.

Contact the company to discuss their manufacturing processes if potential allergen cross-contamination is an issue for you. No food product can be guaranteed “safe” for every individual’s needs. You should never rely on ingredient and allergen statements alone if dealing with a severe food allergy.
