Litehouse Organic Pourable Dressings go Dairy Free in Caesar & Ranch

By Alisa Fleming on April 16, 2019 Dairy-Free Salad Dressing Reviews, Product Reviews

I’m a creamy dressing fan, and fell hard for Litehouse several years ago. Their Coleslaw and Thousand Island dressings were naturally dairy-free and a delicious indulgence in my book. But now this employee-owned company is upping their non-dairy game. The entire line of Litehouse Organic Pourable Dressings has been reformulated and they are now dairy-free.

    Litehouse Organic Pourable Dressings

The Organic Pourable Dressings come in a traditional bottle style in several top-selling flavors. They shouldn’t be confused with their organic dressing & dip products, which are sold in wide-mouth jars, or their non-organic creamy dressings, which are sold in wide-mouth jars and squeeze bottles. Most of their dressing & dip and non-organic creamy dressings do contain dairy. But the following Organic Pourable versions are now dairy-free.

    Allergen Note*

Litehouse dressings are made without nuts and peanuts, but they do have tree nuts present in their facility. Since they have many dressings that contain dairy, it is likely that they have dairy present in the facility, and possibly even on shared lines. However Litehouse Organic Pourable Dressings do state “Dairy Free” right on the bottle, and the company probably follows standard cleaning protocols between batches. We have an inquiry out with the brand.

Litehouse Organic Dressing & Dip (BONUS)

They have just one Organic Dressing & Dip that’s dairy-free by ingredients, so I’m adding it here as a heads up! The Dressing & Dip products come in a jar with a wide mouth.

    Coleslaw Dressing & Dip

Litehouse Organic Pourable Dressings go Dairy Free in Caesar, Ranch and More Varieties. Get the ingredients, allergen info, availability and ratings here!Ingredients: water, organic soybean oil, organic cane sugar, organic apple cider vinegar, organic distilled, vinegar, organic corn starch, organic egg yolk, salt, organic maltodextrin, xanthan gum, organic mustard flour, organic celery seed, organic guar gum. Contains: egg.*

Nutrition (per 2 tablespoon serving): 110 calories, 9g fat, 9g carbs, 0g fiber, 8g sugars (includes 8g added sugars), 0g protein.*

    Allergen Note*

We didn’t note any “may contains” statements on this product, but there is a good probability that it is made on shared lines with the other dairy-containing dressing & dips. They probably clean the runs between batches (most companies follow good manufacturing processes), but as always, you will need to confirm how safe a product is for your needs before purchase.
