OATzarella Oat Milk Cheese Wheels are a Cut Above for Food Allergies

Earlier today, I shared their shredded cheese alternative, but OATzarella has also launched their dairy-free cheese in solid rounds. OATzarella Cheese Wheels have a slightly different formula from the shreds, so we’ve given them this separate post in our product section. Nevertheless, they’re still top allergen-free, added protein-free (no legumes!), organic, vegan, and made with purity protocol steel cut oats.

I had the original oatzarella to use in a lasagna. The flavor is lightly reminiscent of the real stuff, but the texture is bizarre. The texture did not improve with heat.

The Italian Herb is tasty and free of my allergens: dairy, soy, cassava, coconut, nuts. Best of all, great flavor and melts easily. The only issue has been the price–we only buy on sale.

If I had one word to describe what i ate it would be offensive.

I’ll keep this simple yet detailed..
Imagine loving cheesecake more then life then biting into this the disappointment and sadness.. This will forever be the nasties thing I have ever tasted. Close your eyes and imagine cough syrup flavored cheesecake. Nothing about this had a cheesecake taste to it. As I type this I still can’t tell you what I ate on that day. If I had to choose between eating fresh mud and this I’d gladly eat the mud.
