I’m sad to say that Silk Ultra Protein Milk has been discontinued. You can still get Silk Protein Milk, which has a lesser amount of protein, but still beats most milk alternatives.

One of the oldest and most popular dairy alternative brands has gone back to their roots to make the highest protein milk beverage to date. Silk Ultra is soymilk with a whopping 20 grams of protein per cup. It contains 2.5 times more protein than milk, and is fortified with various vitamins and minerals, including calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin B12. It’s geared toward athletes and fitness enthusiasts who are ready to up their dairy-free game.

I am so unhappy that the Ultra is discontinued. It is a great way for vegans and vegetarians to get extra protein. It was so delicious too !!!

So SAD this is gone! WHY??? We are health conscious and pack as much protein in our diet as we can in this family. My kids, hubby and I loved this milk in our smoothies. The few times I could find it over the last year I would buy up all I could get sometimes 4 half gallons at a time. It was rarely in stock at our local Walmart and then, poof gone. SILK please bring this back and advertise it better. Health nuts on protein rich diets really enjoyed this and would buy it up.

Excellent source of protein for those of us trying to meet nutrition and fitness goals! Using it as a milk substitute in a healthy cereal, for example, kept me full and blood sugar stable for longer. The original flavor is the only one I’ve tried. I find it thick, rich, creamy and pleasant to taste.

This was the only nondairy milk I drank. I am a powerlifter so to switch to a milk with less protein doesn’t make any sense; it’s back to protein shakes and water for me.

    Too Good To Be True

I called Dannon to tell them how great this protein drink is! Only to find out that I had the last three cartons that the store would ever sell. I couldn’t believe it. Apparently the French don’t understand consumer awareness better than American companies do. Here is great product. Expensive? Yes. But I gladly paid more because it gave more, ounce per ounce than anything comparable. It’s a shame that we have to keep searching elsewhere to come even close to Silk Ultra.
