Simply Protein Crunchy Bites are a Protein-Packed, Plant-Based Snack

These used to be called “chips,” but the company did a complete brand overhaul (unfortunately adding dairy to many products!), and renamed them to Simply Protein Crunchy Bites. They also discontinued a couple of flavors, but still offer the ones below.

Simply Protein Crunchy Bites Reviews and Info

Tasting Notes for Simply Protein Chips

Simply Protein Crunchy Bites are low in sugar and high in protein. The word “protein” doesn’t usually make my taste buds do a happy dance, but I tell you, these protein chips are quite tasty.

Made with pea protein and potato, each dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free and vegan bite has an audible crunch that is simply irresistible. I was sad to see that they have let some flavors go, but it looks like a couple are holding on.

    Barbecue

We liked the crunch and underlying flavor, but felt like there needed to be a bit more seasoning.

Simply Protein Crunchy Bites Reviews and InfoIngredients: pea protein, potato flour, potato starch, sunflower oil, brown sugar, salt, contains less than 2% of tomato powder, spices, calcium carbonate, onion powder, garlic powder, yeast extract, paprika extract, natural flavor.

Nutrition (per 33-gram bag): 140 calories, 4.5g fat, 12g carbs, 1g fiber, 2g sugars (includes 2g added sugars), 15g protein.*

    Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper

Super peppery and perfectly salty, these Simply Protein Chips are great for heavy craving days. My only note is the high sodium and the slightly “off” almost bitter aftertaste.
