Sproud Pea Protein Milk is Straight out of Sweden

Perhaps we can’t visit Sweden right now, but you can bring a taste of Sweden into your home with Sproud Pea Protein Milk. It might not be a traditional Scandinavian beverage, but it’s made with the progressive intent and ecological conscience that Swedes are known for.

The name Sproud comes from the words “so proud,” and this Swedish company has a lot to be proud of. From a sustainability standpoint, peas use less water to produce than dairy or almonds, resulting in a lower carbon footprint. Sproud Pea Protein Milk is also shelf stable for up to a year, so it can be transported and stored without need for refrigeration. This means a significant reduction in energy usage and waste.

Sproud is also fortified with calcium, vitamin D, vitamin B12, and riboflavin, with levels that rival dairy milk. And it’s enriched with fats and protein for a more balanced beverage.

    What Others Are Saying ...

    wonderful product, atrocious container

    Rated 3 out of 5
    January 26, 2022

After several containers of both regular milk and chocolate, I have decided they both taste just like dairy milk and chocolate milk. They are both wonderful products, far and away the best tasting milk substitute.

The packaging is another story. About 1 out of 5 times the plastic ring pops off without disturbing the seal. This results in having to empty the tool drawer of various knives, pliers, and anything else that might help. In the process milk goes everywhere. Once that mess is cleaned up, it’s time to shake it, as required. That is when you find out the threads were damaged and the cap didn’t seal. So back to the paper towels and cleaner. Arghh!! Even without damaged threads if the cap isn’t screwed on perfectly, shaking makes a royal mess.

If anyone likes drinking warm canola oil then the barista version is for you. More canola oil then pea protein? There are much better alternatives out there.

    Sproud Original

Sproud Original is the best tasting vegan drink for me. It is flavourful, delicate tasting and low in calories. I am very happy to find a vegan drink I like actually it is the only one so far. I am particular with taste especially because I love my organic whole milk to drink and in tea. I do not like the taste of other vegan drinks. I tried this because it is from Sweden. I tell customers about this new product. In store advertising would be helpful to promote Sproud and vegan businesses…Thank you for a great healthy Sproud!

I use the unsweetened Sproud and love it in my coffee and tea. Other non dairy products tend to change the flavour of my tea and coffee. I even use this in my creamy soups!

    Best milk substitute ever

I have tried every kind of milk substitute and unsweetened soy has been my fav. But since I’ve tried this, I can’t go back. It doesn’t have an over powering flavour that changes the drink you’re drinking!

I’ve been looking for something that tastes like the cream. I love in my tea but with fewer calories as I drink 10 cups a day. Nothing I’ve tried comes close to this. It’s every bit as good as cream in my tea. Here to a healthier me.
