Tofu-Based Buttermilk Alternative

Equivalent: 1 cup of Buttermilk

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup Silken Tofu
  • ½ cup plus 3 Tablespoons of Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice or Vinegar
  • Pinch of Salt

Directions: Blend all ingredients together. Let the solution stand for ten minutes before adding to your recipe.
