Blaze Pizza Turns Up the Heat with More Dairy-Free Finishes

    6
By Alisa Fleming on January 25, 2023 Dining Out, Suggested Restaurants, U.S. Restaurants

Updated in January 2023! The build-your-own pizza movement has taken hold, and Blaze Pizza is spreading like wild fire with locations popping up all over the U.S. and Canada. Their “fast fire’d” pizza is baked in just 2 minutes in their ridiculously hot oven (600 to 800 degrees Fahrenheit). But what we love most is their dairy-free options, and how friendly they are to special diets in general. Aside from dairy cheese and specialty crusts, most of the menu at Blaze Pizza is dairy-free, allergy-friendly, and they have ample vegan options, too. And they’ve begun testing new options, like Primal Kitchen’s dairy-free ranch dressing.

Blaze Pizza Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Allergen Notes, Vegan Options, and Custom Order Tips

Blaze Pizza Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Allergen Notes

The availability of toppings, finishes, dressings, and drizzles can vary slightly by location, region, and season. This guide is all-inclusive. Also, be aware of special order requirements in parentheses () next to the menu items, and see the Heads Up notes to help fill in the blanks.

Other Allergen & Dietary Notes: At the time of our review, all of the dairy-free items listed below were also made without egg, gluten, nut, and soy ingredients, unless otherwise clear in the name or noted in parentheses. As with many pizza places, the vegan cheese is precariously close to the dairy cheese, and how well the staff is trained in allergen protocols can vary widely by location. If concerned about cross-contamination, you can ask your Blaze Pizza chef to change their gloves and get an unopened package of the cheese alternative. For vegan options, see the Vegan Menu Guide at the bottom of this post.

It’s so fantastic to have delicious pizza that is both dairy and gluten free. Neither my son or I have ever had a bad reaction from our food here. It is really tasty pizza, and I love that there’s a large variety of toppings and you don’t have to pay extra for each topping. This place is a big win for us!

I haven’t had a pizza in three yrs since going gluten and dairy free. The staff was very helpful and patient. I had got a pesto base since I can’t have tomatoes. I was very excited cause they made a pesto with out dairy, no cheese at all!! And when I say it was the best pizza ever. Thumbs up for accommodating our restrictions

Love that they have dairy-free pesto too! Thanks for sharing Jalena.

We visit our local Blaze often with both of our kids that have food allergies. The Blaze employees always offer to change their gloves and wash their hands when they make the allergy pizzas then that one person will take the pizza to the end. They store the dairy free cheese and sauces used on the gluten free dough in a separate section to lessen the chances of cross contamination. My daughter is very sensitive and she has never gotten sick from eating here. We love having a fun pizza place that we can go out to knowing our kids can eat safely!

I’ve been enjoying Blaze for the past couple of years with my 10-yr old who has a dairy allergy. Blaze does a good job keeping the dairy free cheese in a separate area of the prep counter well away from the regular cheese, and they use a different color cutting wheel dedicated for the dairy free pizzas to avoid cross contamination. The product is excellent, and I highly recommend them.

That’s fantastic. Thank you for sharing this Kevin.
