Their are now dozens of chocolatiers that ship dairy-free and vegan Valentine’s Day gifts to homes across the country. But what about thoughtful goodies you can simply pick up at the store? Fortunately, there are quite a few dairy-free Valentine’s Day treats available at mainstream grocers, big block stores, and natural food markets. In fact, we’ve uncovered over 50 seasonal little sweets for enjoying, gifting, or sharing in office and classroom swaps.

For many of these products, I’ve simply linked to the product on Target, because they tend to provide good images. But you will find most of these at a variety of stores! Please keep in mind that these dairy-free Valentine’s Day treats are seasonal. They won’t last long after the special day passes.

Allergen Notes: All items listed below were dairy-free by ingredients at the time of our review. We have also labeled any top allergens that these products contain. But ingredients are subject to change at any time, and all products are at some degree of risk for allergen cross contamination. If you are concerned about potential cross contamination of an allergen, always contact the company to discuss their ingredient sourcing and allergen protocols before purchasing. Only you can decide what is safe for your needs.

Vegan Options: We have labeled any items that appear to contain eggs, gelatin, beeswax, confectioner’s glaze, or honey as “not vegan.” But if concerned about the sugar source, or any other ingredients, be sure to do your own research.

    Chocolate Surprises

Our Dairy-Free Valentine’s Day Chocolate Guide is filled with dozens of options that you can buy online. But these popular chocolates are available at local grocery stores, like Target, Albertson’s / Safeway, and Whole Foods. They aren’t as boisterous as a box of chocolate, but they are every bit as special.
