In late 2019, America’s number one selling Greek yogurt brand launched their first “milk” line, and it was dairy free! It’s been so successful, that they’ve continued to expand their line of Chobani Oat Milk. At the end of last year, they released their first “zero sugar” oat milk, and this year they crafted a vanilla version. But the holidays deserve a little indulgence, don’t you think? So this season, Chobani has launched Oat Nog. We have details on all current flavors of Chobani Oat Milk below.
Chobani Oat Milk is Now Pouring in Zero Sugar, Extra Creamy, Nog, and More
With the exception of the new Zero Sugar, Chobani Oat Milk Drinks use organic, gluten-free, Non-GMO, sun-dried oats from the prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada. Chobani mills these oats in a centuries-old style, but uses modern techniques to create a creamy, fluid finish.

Isn’t the Plain “Zero Sugar” Too?
According to a ruling against the manufacturer Oatly, when an enzymatic process is used to make oatmilk, it breaks down the oat starch into simple sugars, and effectively creates sugars that must be claimed as “added sugars.” Chobani mills old-style, but they also use an enzymatic process to break down the oats. This is why their Plain flavors are effectively free of sugar ingredients, but they have a high “added sugars” claim on the nutrition facts. But, they’ve reportedly “tweaked” the process so they could create oatmilk with no sugars at all. But please note that their newer “zero sugar” variety is not made with organic oats.
Vitamin D Note
Although vitamin D is not specifically listed in their ingredients, it appears to be in their “nutrient extract blend.” The company states that the “Vitamin D is sourced from fruit and vegetables,” so it is vegan-friendly.

Amazing Taste but a bit pricey
It literally tastes like whole milk! I even got my boyfriend to drink it and he NEVER likes alternative milks, but he liked it so much he bought himself one. It was on sale for $2 but it’s normally about $4. I wish it stayed at about $2-3 given how much you get. Definitely worth it though! Check out Safeway or Fry’s when it’s on sale.
I want to know
Does it have carageenan though? I can’t seem to find this information.
Response from Go Dairy Free
All of the ingredients are listed above. I don’t see any carrageenan.
Vanilla is too sweet
Not sure why they add sugar and oil to the vanilla oat milk but it was too sweet for my taste. Plain was ok.
No indigestion..no gases
I love the flavor and the fact that it does not create gases in my stomach. I can drink a glass every night without a stomachache
Extra Creamy
Legit tastes like whole milk, I had given up on oat milk but something told me to try this and I’m so glad I did. At $4 for less than half a gallon it’s definitely a treat, not an everyday thing.
Vanilla
This is the best oat milk ever
My Favorite Oatmilk
I have tried all of the oatmilk available at my local grocery. Beyond a doubt,Chiobani is my winner!
Oak Milk.....extra creamy
Love the extra creamy plain oak milk, the closest to whole milk that I’ve tasted. I also have used it in recipes and it works great, no after taste like almond milk.
Absolutely delicious!
As I have gotten older, it seems I’ve developed a sensitivity to dairy, so I’ve been making an effort to reduce my dairy intake, specifically half-and-half in my coffee. I’ve wasted SO much money trying every type of plant-based coffee “milks”— either too sweet, synthetic-y, watery, just weird— just not acceptable. Then I noticed this product during the beginning of the COVID “hoard” buying, when every single container of milk was gone. Most of the plant-based milks were gone, too, but there was one container of the Chobani Extra-Creamy left. I was prepared to hate it, but was desperate. And it’s AMAZING. Great mouthfeel, no strange aftertaste. It’s all I use now, and in the occasional bowl of cereal. I’ve sneaked it into very picky son’s cereal a few times, and he didn’t even notice the difference! If he had seen me pouring it in the bowl, I’m sure he would have just refused to try it. Next, I’ll be trying a bit in recipes. We’ll see!
The best plant based milk I’ve ever tried!
I have been lactose in tolerant and prefer all dairy free options. I’ve tried most plant based milks both sweetened and unsweetened. The vanilla flavor is by far the most delicious plant based milk I’ve ever tasted. I usually only use milk in smoothies or cereals, but I can’t stop pouring myself a glass of this to sip on as a healthy and delicious snack/ desert. The taste is amazing and I can’t wait to try this in recipes. It is sweet and has a strong vanilla flavor, but it is to die for and absolutely delicious. I’m so impressed and can’t wait to try the other flavors. The best plant based milk and the best oat milk I’ve ever tasted.
