There are a lot of great dairy-free products out there, and even some stellar dairy-free and gluten-free goods. But Jennie’s Gluten-Free Macaroons are AMAZING, in my humble opinion. Of course, you need to be a coconut fan to love these moist, dense, soft, rich cookies.
Jennie’s Gluten-Free Macaroons come in Classic and Chocolaty Varieties
Sadly, some of my beloved flavors of Jennie’s Gluten-Free Macaroons have been discontinued over the years. They no longer make the Chocolate-Covered (just Chocolate-Drizzled), Ginger, Carob, or Omega-3 varieties. But they still produce this core selection in a range of packaging options – from single-serve to club packs.
They have also changed the formula of Jennie’s Gluten-Free Macaroons a bit since I last tried them. They are still quite simple, but the prior ingredients were coconut, organic cane sugar, honey, and egg whites. You can see the current ingredients below. For that reason, I’ve removed my tasting notes. But you can leave your own unbiased rating and review below if you’ve tried them recently!

I bought some “Double Chocolate Sea Salt Macaroons” in Spokane, Wash. I live in Discovery Bay, Ca. Does anyone know where to get them close by? They are not on the “Jennies” site! Peggy
I found them on Amazon Peggy -> http://amzn.to/2v3qB4f
I was very excited when I pulled these off the shelf and they say wheat free gluten free dairy free Yeat free sulfite free everything you want them to be free of I ate one and then I read in the ingredient list and it says egg whites.
The last time I checked eggs were considered dairy. Disappointed as I am VEGAN and dont eat DAIRY
Hi Shelly, I’m so sorry to hear of this happening to you! Indeed, eggs are not vegan, but they are dairy-free. Eggs have no akin to dairy / milk products. See this post for clarification – http://www.godairyfree.org/ask-alisa/are-eggs-dairy – sadly though, those macaroons are not vegan.
You might want to try Hail Merry macaroons for vegan – very tasty!
Jennie’s WERE fantastic, till they stopped using honey and started using sugar. Now they are AWFUL!! Way, way too sweet! I would buy them by the case at the health food store, but NEVER again!
