Updated April 2022! Yoplait’s first vegan product was such a big success, they’ve added more flavors. Oui Dairy Free Yogurt is currently available in six varieties, including new classic Coconut and seasonal Pumpkin Caramel. This premium French-style line has creamy cultured coconut on top and fruit preserves on the bottom. It seems like a gourmet treat that could be hard to find, but it’s actually available in mainstream grocers.
Oui Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative is Creamy on Top, Fruit on the Bottom
These cute dairy-free glass pots have a European look, and a DIY style that lets you swirl or mix the flavor as you wish. They also have a teal label to help them stand out as an allergy-friendly option. They look like pure, sweet little desserts. But you be the judge! What Cultures Does Oui Dairy Free Use?
Several of you have asked about this, but unfortunately Yoplait isn’t willing to share that information. I inquired and they responded with the following, “We use a proprietary blend of cultures so are unable to share that information.”
More Allergen Notes
We asked Yoplait how they handle potential cross contamination with dairy, and they sent the following information.
We have a very rigorous process in place to ensure our Oui Dairy Alternative is dairy-free. These process controls span from the ingredient suppliers through the finished product. Though our ingredients are inherently dairy-free, we don’t rely on that alone. We work with each of our suppliers to confirm there is no cross contamination at their manufacturing plant or in the storage or transportation of the ingredients. In addition, we employ rigorous processes in our own manufacturing plants. Although the product is currently produced in a manufacturing plant that also produces dairy products, the Oui Dairy Alternative manufacturing plant has robust allergen programs with validated cleaning practices, pre-start-up inspections, and testing on the finished product for the presence of dairy. With these controls in place we are confident that our products are dairy-free.

Tastes really good but Yoplait won't release important info.
It tastes very good, but I don’t like that they won’t disclose if it has live and active cultures. It either does or does not. Refusing to release that information and being secretive will make people opt not to purchase again.
Not certified vegan
This is really good, but it’s not certified vegan. it says it’s vegan, but does not have a certified vegan logo. So yes it’s dairy free, but not truly vegan. hence why they don’t want to disclose the true nutritional culture ingredients.so probably won’t be getting this anymore.
Response from Go Dairy Free
Vegan certifying is done by a private, profit organization, that is not affiliated with, or approved by, any government organization, and it does cost money. Products do not need to be vegan certified to be vegan. It is merely a marketing decision that has to be budgeted for.
Delicious but concerned
This DAIRY FREE Yogurt is Delicious in all flavors I have tried. I’m not sure what the problem is that they feel the need to hide what and the % of cultures in each. I have the right to know what I am consuming in my body. Therefore I will be searchingfor an alternative that is willing to list the ingredients.
Great tasting yogurt.
Love this yogurt. Low in sugar and taste is Great!
Delicious!
I’m not 100% “Dairy Free” but I’m learning that it upsets my belly. This was amazing! I tried the Mango, and I love it! It has a slight coconut taste to it, in addition to the fruit mix in. It is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it. PLUS the container is so cute! It’s glass with a little design on it that can totally be used again. Delicious and can’t wait to try other flavors.
Healthy?
Delicious but It is unclear if this is nutritious as it has only 1 g of protein and the probiotics are not provided.
Soupy
Actually bought by accident. Had nice flavor (I had the raspberry) but very soupy. I like the firm custard texture. Also, no protein and no cultures listed. No nutritional value that I could see. Just 160 calories of sweetness.
Delicious
Wish it was lower sugar
Delicious
Bought the strawberry, it was delicious! It is expensive though. And what is it with the portion size. A serving of yogurt should be 8oz only 5 lacks the nutritional benefit. Also the sugar content is pretty high at 13grams ikes….how about a low sugar version?
