Creamy Tropical Smoothie (Vegan, Gluten-Free)


I am usually a slave to the banana in smoothies, but since we were out, I opted for a frozen fruit melange when my husband’s smoothie cravings struck.  He loved it and asked for another the next day!  Since Trader Joe’s isn’t convenient to everyone, you may opt to sub in frozen chunks of pineapple and mango from your local store.  The pineapple really adds the creamy, tropical flair.


  • 1 cup Tropical Trio Frozen Fruit from Trader Joe’s (Mango, Pineapple, and Papaya infused with Passion Fruit Juice)
  • 1 cup Vanilla Almond Milk (I used Pacific Foods)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or other sweetener (optional)

Blend all ingredients until smooth, cool, and creamy!
