For Whistler village, Portobello is a downright value and they are excellent at catering to dairy-free and gluten-free needs (can’t confirm on other allergens). For gluten-free, they use Kinnikinnick bread (which is DF/GF) for chef-made sandwiches. Since the bread is “smaller” they give two sandwiches for the price of one with gluten-free (no extra charge!). They were amazing, and my husband was in heaven. Since it is a part of the Fairmont, the restaurant is quite allergy-aware (Fairmont protocol), so don’t hesitate to ask with special diet needs.
Overall, a great, affordable spot for breakfast, lunch, or a treat.
