Abby’s Better Nut Butter are Blends with Benefits

Updated 2020! I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised to see a Generation Z entrepreneur launching their own natural food product line. But somehow I was still in awe when I discovered Abby’s Better Nut Butter. Fifteen-year-old Abby Kircher initially rolled out not one, but five varieties of cashew, almond, and pecan butters. And now, as she barely enters adulthood, she is selling ten different flavors!

Abby's Better Nut Butter Review - high-quality cashew, almond and pecan butters from a 15-year-old entrepreneur!

First, I must say that I love the packaging. The look is clean, fresh, and recognizable, and the BPA-free wide mouth jars are so much easier to scrape every last bit from. And I wasn’t leaving a speck behind!

These are some of the purist, highest quality nut butters that I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. They do come at a slightly luxurious price, but I think you get what you pay for. And they are definitely gift-worthy!

And if an ambitious young founder and high quality ingredients aren’t enough reasons to consider Abby’s Better Nut Butter, I have two more. First, 10 percent of all profits are donated to global charities. Second, the taste is phenomenal.

Unbiased Tasting Notes for Abby’s Better Nut Butter

I had the chance to sample a few flavors Abby’s Better Nut Butters. I’ve included full details on those below, followed by a quick list of the other varieties offered.

    Coconut Cashew Butter (pictured below)

I’ve found my new favorite nut butter! This variety of Abby’s Better Nut Butters is so rich and creamy, it puts those processed varieties to shame. I wanted to eat it with a spoon! It’s sugar-free, but has a wonderful natural sweetness that makes it perfect atop toast, with apples, or stirred into warm grains. It does have subtle hints of coconut and cashew, but somehow the coconut and cashew harmoniously create their own flavor.

Abby's Better Nut Butter Reviews and InfoIngredients: organic coconut oil, roasted cashews, himalayan sea salt, organic shredded coconut

Nutrition (per 2 tablespoons): 160 calories, 14g fat, 8g carbs, 1g fiber, 1g sugars (includes 0g added sugars), 4g protein.*

    Strawberry Cashew Butter

This flavor has nearly the same delightful texture as the Coconut Cashew Butter. It’s luxurious and has a very light natural sweetness. However, the strawberry flavor is much lighter than I expected. In fact, if I hadn’t read the label, I never would have guessed it was strawberry. It’s still delicious, but I’d love to try an extra fruit infusion.

Abby's Better Nut Butter Reviews and InfoIngredients: organic coconut oil , roasted cashews, organic dried strawberries, natural vanilla, organic himalayan salt

Nutrition (per 2 tablespoons): 160 calories, 13g fat, 9g carbs, <1g fiber, 2g sugars (includes 0g added sugars), 4g protein.*

    Date Pecan Butter

When I tried this variety, dates were the first ingredient. Consequently, it was sweeter and the texture was more like a Larabar than a nut butter. They’ve since reversed the order, and now make this with more pecans for a buttery finish.

Abby's Better Nut Butter Reviews and InfoIngredients: dry roasted pecans, dates, pink himalayan salt

Nutrition (per 2 tablespoons): 170 calories, 18g fat, 3g carbs, 2g fiber, 1g sugars (includes 0g added sugars), 2g protein.*

    What’s it going to take?

I ordered 2 flavors, the cashew coconut and the date pecan. Both arrived unsealed. I sent an email to Abby. Oops was her answer and she sent another butters. I received the 2nd attempt and the cashew coconut was sealed but alas, the date pecan was again not sealed. I have written several times with no response from her! Very frustrating !!! The taste of the coconut cashew was bland and will not be buying again at all.

It would be helpful to have directions on how to store after opening? Should the nut butters be refrigerated or not?

    Response from Go Dairy Free

It should say on the package if refrigeration is recommended. If not, then it isn’t needed. Some people like to refrigerate nut butters once open to help preserve freshness. But typically, refrigeration isn’t necessary.

    Excellent product AAA+++❤

We recently tried Abby’s Nut Butters in a few flavors. We are absolutely delighted with these nut butters. The Maple Almond and the Date Almond butters are favorites, but the 4 we have tried are really delicious. This young lady has a super great product and she is going places❣ 💯% you will not be disappointed. ❤

    Terrible Customer Service

    September 21, 2020

I followed Abby on Instagram when she first started advertising. I made several purchases over the year. The nut butter flavors are fabulous. However about 3 weeks ago I saw the offer for a sale on Instagram .. knowing I wanted to order some I jumped on it. I would have bought it anyway but was excited to see the discount and planned on ordering many more. My code did not work ? I sent a message thru Instagram and in a few days I could see it was “seen” no reply. I thought I’d try sending an email … no reply. I posted my question on one of the many new postings that were put up .. still offering 25offeverything.?? It was deleted and a day later the promo taken down.🤔 Hmmm I was annoyed. Sounds like a great Company and I was a happy customer . The lack of respect to customers and no response really surprised me. Could have said the Sale was over? I still would have bought more. This young girl needs to check her Public Relations department ( if there even is one) I deleted the site and emails. I actually did post one more disappointed notice on the Instagram posting

Again it was deleted. I like to support good people who treat people with respect . A response at the very least. I loved the products not the company! Sorry Abby going elsewhere!
