To the best of our knowledge, Cafe Indigo is no longer making Cookie Desserts, but they are still baking Cakes. They’re also the bakery behind Abe’s Mini Muffins and Abe’s Pound Cakes.

Once in a great while, a sweet emerges that is just so worth it that I’ll happily justify every sinful bite as my one treat in an ultra-healthy day! This year, two such splurges crossed my lips: this one and Vegan Goodness Cookie Desserts.

You may have heard me mention Pearl River Pastry before. They are the bakery behind Abe’s Dairy Free Muffins, and they made those impressive Vegan Goodness Cakes from Cafe Indigo possible. Continuing to up the ante, they also partnered with Cafe Indigo to share these to die for Vegan Goodness Cookie Desserts.

Tasting Notes for Cafe Indigo Vegan Goodness Cookie Desserts

    Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar

This, my friends, is what dairy-free cookie heaven tastes like. Cafe Indigo didn’t just hit the mark with this thick, sweet, rich Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar – they knocked it out of the park. Each bite is pure sugary deliciousness. Perfectly baked to retain a slight cookie dough like vibe that is a touch crumbly, but delightfully so. It’s deliciously packed with copious amounts of perfect semi-sweet little chocolate chips. But I’m left trying to decide, is it really “goodness” as the label claims, or addictive evilness! Either way, I’m hooked.

    Vegan Goodness Chocolate Whoopie Pies

Admittedly, chocolate cake isn’t my thing. So the Vegan Goodness Chocolate Whoopie Pies didn’t have the same swoon affect for my tastes. Nonetheless, whoopie pie lovers will surely rejoice over these jumbo-size treats. The sandwich vessels are thick, sweet and cocoa-y with a dense textural cross between cake and cookies. The whipped, super-sweet, and generous frosting smooshes out the sides with each bite (fun!).
