Unfortunately, Chobani has now discontinued all of their dairy-free yogurt product lines, including Chobani Oat Yogurt Cups. For options that are currently available, see our Dairy-Free Yogurt Reviews.
Last Updated in October 2021! The most popular Greek yogurt company in the U.S. is making their second foray into plant-based yogurt. Chobani Oat Yogurt Cups are batch-fermented with organic gluten-free oats and six live and active cultures. As a result, each serving contains billions of probiotics. Be sure to leave your rating and review below once you try them!
Chobani Oat Yogurt Cups Join the Dairy-Free Culture
Because oats are leaner than coconut, Chobani’s Oat Yogurt does contain more ingredients than their Non-Dairy Coconut Yogurt. Oats need a little more help to reach a creamy consistency. And take note that these are not coconut-free. Each flavor contains a little bit of coconut.
At our time of review, Chobani hadn’t listed the cultures in their Oat Yogurt Cups, but they might be the same as the ones in their Non-Dairy Coconut Yogurt. Those are l. acidophilus, l. bulgaricus, l. paracasei, s. thermophilus, bidus, and l. casei.

Way too sour!!!
So far have tried the strawberry vanilla and peach mandarin — both are SO SOUR. Why is this necessary?? Another person commented if you put a lot of granola in it is tolerable…but I have still not been able to finish a whole cup. Yikes.
Sour
The taste of this yogurt is just awful, Sorkin’s of sour, I have to throw it away. I bought vanilla flavor.
Vanilla tastes like Lemon
We love key lime yogurt and don’t mind the citrus flavor it just came as a shock vanilla tasted like lemon.
Is it indeed rancid/fermented too far or is this the taste we are suppose to get? 😆
Response from Go Dairy Free
Lemon is one of the ingredients, they might have just added too much for your tastes.
Yum!
I really enjoy the Chobani oat yogurt and do does my husband and he’s really picky. We only buy the strawberry and the blueberry pomegranate but we buy them and enjoy them every week!
I enjoyed the Blueberry Almond yogurt
I love the regular Chiobani flip yogurts and was pleasantly surprised by the oat milk version, no problem buying it again.
I thought it had gone off...
I tried vanilla and it tastes like it has gone bad. I looked up a review to see if it was supposed to take this tangy and bitter and ended up here. I am giving it 2 stars because you can mix it with a bunch of granola and fruit to make it edible. I’ll be sticking to almond yogurt next time!
Terrible
I decided to try this because oat milk is easier on my sensitive stomach than almond. I bought the vanilla. This stuff is terrible. So thin it’s almost watery and very bitter. The bitterness overpowers everything. Won’t be buying again.
Not good, really not good
I tried the strawberry granola crunch (oat version of the Chobani flip) and it tastes so incredibly artificial, it reminds me of being a kid and tasting play-doh. There is so much sugar in here and still manages to taste awful. I bought it because the store location I went to didn’t have the So Delicious brand flip yogurts—amazing by comparison. Please learn from my mistake, these are so bad.
Disgusting
Tastes so bad I thought it was rotten. Inedible. What a waste of money.
Beyond Disappointing
My sister and I grabbed the Vanilla and could barely wait to get home to try it. I literally gagged and she spit it out. I wanted so badly to like it I’ve been trying to think how to incorporate it to enhance the taste for the benefits but I just can’t. I live on a very tight budget so I’m not happy I’m having to throw away money.
