Springfield Creamery, the makers of Nancy’s Probiotic Foods, is a family owned Eugene, Oregon company that was founded in 1960. They are dedicated to their dairy product lines, but have also catered to dairy-free customers for years. Their Soy Yogurt was discontinued a few years ago, but they replaced it with a full range of non-dairy Nancy’s Oatmilk Yogurt. And this summer, they’ve decided to completely revamp their oatmilk line. It has a new look and a brand new recipe, with several ingredient changes.
Nancy’s Oatmilk Yogurt Transitions to All New Formula and Packaging
What are the changes in Nancy’s Oatmilk Yogurt? The company swapped the faba bean protein for chickpea protein, down-sized ever so slightly from 6 ounces to the standard 5.3 ounce singles (the multi-serves are still the same size), increased the coconut oil for a richer (and higher fat) consistency, and replaced the agar with gellan gum for thickening. But don’t worry, it’s still dairy-free and soy-free, contains live and active cultures, and has 30 to 50% less sugar than the leading plant-based yogurts (and many dairy yogurts).

More Allergen Notes
These yogurts are made without top allergens, and do not have a “may contain” statement for any allergens. The container we purchased actually had dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, and soy-free listed right on the package. However, they are made on shared equipment with dairy (we’re assuming yogurt). They do not specify certified gluten-free oats on the ingredients online, but it looks like they do on the containers. Double check in store and with the company, if needed.

Amazing
Same here. Honestly I don’t know why everyone is complaining about the plain one. It is SO good once you dress it up with fruits. I love the taste and the macros are out of this world. 0g sugar and 6g of protein? You can’t beat that. Thank you for these incredible products and I am so happy I found ya’ll! I will be buying forever!
ADD SOY MILK
When I took a bite of strawberry hibiscus I was blown away with how sour it was. Dumping it into a bowl and adding a bunch of soy milk helps a lot. I can still enjoy the hibiscus tang and sharp probiotic flavor 🙂
Vanilla fat free
Super sour i put cinnamon and bananas granola in it still waaay sour had to check the date not expired 🤢 couldn’t finish a serving
kinda vinegary
i bought this at my local store and it wasnt expired, but the plain one tasted vinegary? idk if this was a bad batch or something but it was wayyy too vinegary for me.
vinegar aftertaste
the plain flavor is pretty awful. the consistency is pretty standard for non dairy yogurts, but there is an almost vinegar taste to the plain and you can kind of “dress it up” w/ honey or fruit or granola, but it’s still there and pretty awful. it tastes like it’s either gone bad, or just about to go bad.
Terrific yogurt
I love this plain yogurt because it’s perfect for making cheese and to use in my baking recipes. I recently tried the blue berry and thought it was tasty.

Don't waste your moneg
I love yogurt and couldn’t finish this. It was terrible
If you like the taste of feet then this yogurt is for you!
Unfortunately for Nancy’s, I concur with the majority of reviewers here in that the plain version of this yogurt is absolutely inedible. It has the consistency of curdled jello and tastes like it was made from two week old stagnant water that was used to wash sweaty socks.
Love this Product!
I have tried both the Vanilla & Blueberry and can say these will be in my cart every time I shop! Great flavor, great with mixing in granola & berries – couldn’t recommend more! Reading other reviews it seems the only negative comments are about the plain… so maybe just avoid that particular yogurt, the rest are awesome!
