This plant-based company is about more than savory cheese alternatives. They’ve also created a line of dairy-free desserts. OATzarella Cheesecakes are on the nutritious side, with an organic gluten-free oat filling and flaxseed crust. But they still promise vegan and allergy-friendly indulgence in two classic flavors.
OATzarella Cheesecakes take a Sweet Slice of the Allergen Free Market
We’ve seen several dairy-free cheesecakes come and go over the years, but none quite like this. According to OATzarella, their cheesecake formula was created by pastry chefs, and it uniquely uses from-scratch oat milk and extra-virgin olive oil. Once you buy and try either flavor (or both!), be sure to leave your own unbiased rating and review below.

Most disgusting desert I have ever had.
Bland, yet somehow the taste was awful?! The texture was horrible, the smell was stinky. It took me almost 3 minutes to swallow one tiny bite. My sister had to spit hers out. I sent one to work with my mother and had to call her to warn her not to try it until she got home in case she gagged. We eat anything vegan/gluten free normally, even if its not the best tasting. This was the first time in my life that I was not sick yet urgently wanted to spit something out. Wasted $6 on this and it will end up going to my rats tomorrow, my house rooster refused a second bite of it just now after trying a little nibble. Ya. Nasty. All this because Sprouts was sold out of Daiya cheezecakes. Y’all have been warned.
Really?
I’ve had freezer burned Popsicles that tasted better than this stuff!
Worst dairy free dessert I’ve ever had
The flavor was just awful and I’ve had many chocolate oat milk flavored stuff. The texture was the worst. It was gelatin like, nothing like regular cheesecake. Diaya Cheesecake is 1000 times better. Texture and flavor.
Why?
When this product was tested, why on earth did they send it to market?? 3 out of 3 lactose intolerants at our party could not stomach it. Others tasted and agreed. Watery and strangely porous, the plain was worst. The chocolate was basically slimy cold congealed oatmeal. We paid $6 each for these tiny packs of 2 single portions of gross, inedible squish.
Really bad
I was excited to try these. Really wouldn’t have guessed they were so bad. Texture is awful, gritty but soggy at the same time. Nothing like cheesecake at all. Just a total fail. I’m surprised these made it to market.
Bizarre texture, little flavor
I was so excited to try this because I don’t like coconut milk/oil products. The first bite, I was struck by how watery and flavorless it was while also having a weird, lumpy texture. I took two bites and the second was somehow worse than the first. I don’t think I can force myself to finish it.
Nope
Not again. It only deserves 2 stats because I can actually swallow it. But, the chocolate one is not delish at all.
Love the simple ingredients
So I bought both flavors, and the original was pretty meh. It would definitely be better with whipped cream and berries on top. The chocolate was amazing!!! Very mousse like, and the flavor was great. I can imagine a sauce of sorts being really good on this one. If your going to buy one, go for the chocolate.
