Chobani Non-Dairy Drinks Offer Yogurt Benefits in 4 Creamy Flavors (DISCONTINUED)

    0
By Alisa Fleming on March 4, 2019 Discontinued Products, Product Reviews

Chobani Non-Dairy Drinks (Coconut-Based) have been discontinued. But they still make Chobani Coconut-Based Yogurt Cups, and more recently added Chobani Probiotic Drinks. If you are looking for dairy-free, yogurt-style drinks specifically, Forager Project, Califia Farms, Halsa, and Harmless Harvest all make drinkable vegan yogurts.

Although both product lines are labeled simply as “Chobani Non-Dairy,” and they both contain six live and active cultures, Chobani Non-Dairy Drinks are a different experience from the Non-Dairy Cups. They’re rich, creamy, cultured coconut beverages that you might say are like drinkable yogurt.

Chobani Non-Dairy Drinks Offer Yogurt Benefits in 4 Creamy Flavors

This drinkable dairy-free “yogurt” is thicker than your average milk beverage, and less sweet than many yogurts on the market. It isn’t fortified to rival dairy, but it is carrageenan-free, rich with coconut cream, and spiked with a little boost of fiber. And I think many of you will like that it’s also free of lecithin and pea protein! We’ve yet to sample each flavor, but leave your own rating and review to tell us what you think of them!

Tastes good! It is very thin as others suggest, basically the consistency of water. Been looking into dairy-free to help the environment, when on sale it is worth a buy.

Love it. It would be good to add vitamin b12, since it’s something vegans specifically to their diet, as we don’t consume meat. However really good though.

    Overly Sweet!!!

    I had the vanilla-chai flavor.

I thought the smoothie tasted too thin (even after vigorously shaking) and tasted way too sweet! One star for the 4g of fiber that comes with it.

Bought 2 of these on sale. Will leave the 2nd one for emergencies and will not be repurchasing.

Think I’ll stick with soy yogurt.

I really liked the strawberry drink. Kinda like the coconut strawberry drink from Starbucks. I have not tried the other flavours. It was great to have a yogurt flavoured drink that is non dairy!

    Love these!!!

I generally cannot tolerate dairy very well (allergic to milk since I was a baby). I love these and that they have probiotics for gut health etc. I have tried all the flavors except the slightly sweet plain, I haven’t been able to find that one. All of the rest are GREAT!! I love that they are thinner, which makes them smooth, light, and refreshing. Just what I had been looking for. I am SO GLAD I tried them! I have been purchasing these over and over since I found them about a month or so ago and plan to keep buying as long as they are sold.

Tastes great and can be used to make non-dairy milkshakes.

The Slightly Sweet Plain is wonderful alone, but mix it with coconut milk ice cream in a milkshake and it is beyond great!

    Strangely Flavored

    Rated 1 out of 5
    April 18, 2019

I was really excited by this product, as I haven’t been able to eat yogurt for years. I bought a strawberry flavor right away. I am not a fan of the flavor at all though – the flavors don’t blend together and the strawberry was off-putting. ? It made my stomach upset within seconds (from the probiotics and the strange off-putting taste) and ended up not finishing it.

Traditional yogurt is thick, even the drinkable kinds are, too, somewhat, but this is just a thin milk so didn’t really seem like “yogurt” as I hoped. Disappointed and won’t be buying again.

    LOVING THIS

I have tried almost every non-dairy yogurt out there. This is by far the best! My favorite is the peach, as well as the vanilla chai and mango drink. I have Crohns Disease and had to give up dairy. This has made the transition better!
