ON, Toronto – Planta

This fine dining vegetarian vegan restaurant is the first of its kind for Toronto. Planta was opened with a goal to create delicious plant based food that promotes environmental sustainability. They serve an upscale and innovative menu while providing a beautiful environment to dine in. They serve dinner nightly, lunch and Sunday brunch.

Planta - Toronto's first upscale vegan restaurant

The dishes at Planta are inspired by cuisines from around the world. Pizza with housemade cashew cheese, za’atar chickpea fries, carrot dogs, and truffle macaroni with a cauliflower based cream are just some of their unique offerings. But one of the most loved and swooned over dishes is their Planta Burger. It’s a fully loaded vegetable burger piled with vegan bacon, queso, pickles, and tomatillo mayo. And although wheat-based items like this are served, they do have many gluten-free options on the menu.

To this restaurant, responsible plant based eating is more than just excluding animal products. Quality ingredients and ethical suppliers are also important to them. Even their wine list is completely organic and sustainably sourced.
