This little bakery in Fargo, ND was created by a celiac family whose mission is to make accessible and delicious gluten-free baked goods. With many hours of researching, experimenting, and developing they were able to create a gluten-free flour blend that they claim is indistinguishable from all-purpose flour!
At Mehl’s Bakery, you will find many dairy-free and vegan options, too. In fact, whenever you stop in, you’ll have cupcakes, muffins, cookies, cakes, breads, bagels, and pizzas to choose from! There is always a great selection of flavors, too, many of which rotate daily. And they have discount specials throughout the week that are worth checking out.
Mehl’s Bakery also takes special orders for custom cakes and cupcakes. They even prepare seasonal favorites for the holidays, but I would call ahead to ensure you get your piece of their pie bounty.
But if you can’t make it into Mehl’s Bakery or you just want freshly baked gluten-free treats in the comfort off your own home, they also sell their flour blend and baking mixes. You can buy them at their bakery, in select stores, or have them shipped (I believe throughout the country).
