NV, Reno – Süp Restaurant

Süp Restaurant has quickly become one of the hottest lunch spots in the trendy Midtown area of Reno. It’s casual atmosphere is clean and appealing with both indoor and outdoor seating and a Tahoe-style flare. It is a fast casual style restaurant where you can order at the counter for table service.

The menu of fresh salads, soups and sandwiches at Süp clearly labels which selections are vegan, and they can help with gluten-free on request. Beyond the vegan menu items, Süp has many others that are dairy-free, or can easily be made dairy-free, without the cheese for example. I found the staff to be very helpful, and the cooks were literally right behind the cashier, making answers to inquiries about the menu almost instant!

We loved everything we sampled at Süp – I’ve had the crab and shrimp salad thus far – and definitely plan on returning. Here are a few notes from Süp about their ingredient quality:

Our soup stocks are made in-house from fresh ingredients, not reconstituted from thick bases bought from suppliers.
We roast turkeys daily for our soups and sandwiches.
We proudly serve Mary’s Free Range Chicken.
Our breads are the only pre-made products purchased, delivered and made fresh daily, from House of Bread and 5th St Bakehouse.
Every salad dressing is homemade and can be purchased to take home.
Many of our herbs and produce are grown locally.
