Thanks to Go Dairy Free viewer Matt for recommending Loving Hut, an all-vegan, fast food restaurant chain. They are touted as the largest vegan franchise, and have about 40 locations (and counting) in the U.S. This doesn’t include the restaurant outposts that they have in other countries around the world.
Every Loving Hut location has it’s own hours and menus, so you have to select your location on their website (below) for specific details. But in general, they serve an extensive menu of Asian and American-style cuisine. Burgers, pho, rice dishes, and spring rolls offer a sampling of what you will find at most Loving Hut spots. And they do use mostly organic ingredients, including organic soy in many of their higher-protein dishes.
They also have a nice array of light fare, like soups, salads, and smoothies, so that you can leave room for dessert! From what we’ve seen, every location offers a well-round dessert menu, with treats like cheesecake, cookies, and local favorites, like flan.
This isn’t a gluten-free restaurant, but they do label gluten-free and gluten-free optional items on their menus. You will also see labels for soy-free and soy-free optional. But Loving Hut makes it clear that they do handle some top allergens in their kitchen.
Our food is prepared & shared with equipment & surfaces that may contain traces of gluten, soy, or peanuts. We cannot guarantee our dishes to be 100% free of gluten, soy, or peanuts. Please inform your Loving Hut server of any allergies that you may have before ordering your meal.
Since it is a vegan establishment, everything is dairy-free and egg-free. But it’s still essential to inquire with the staff if you have any cross-contamination concerns due to milk or egg food allergies.
