Loving Hut is the World’s Largest Vegan Fast Food Chain

By Alisa Fleming on January 15, 2022 Dining Out, Suggested Restaurants, U.S. Restaurants

Years ago, a Go Dairy Free viewer named Matt recommended Loving Hut, an all-vegan, fast food restaurant chain. We’ve since updated this post with the latest information on this dairy-free, egg-free, and meat-free find. They are touted as the largest vegan franchise, with about 40 locations (and counting) in the U.S. And this doesn’t include their outposts in other countries around the world. Globally, they have about 200 quick serve restaurants.

Loving Hut Serves Dairy-Free, Egg-Free Food Worldwide

Every Loving Hut location has it’s own hours and menus, so you have to select your location on their website (below) for specific details. But in general, they offer an extensive menu of Asian and American-style cuisine in a casual counter serve style (sometimes in food courts).

Loving Hut uses mostly organic ingredients, including organic soy in many of their higher-protein dishes. Most of their locations serve burgers, pho, rice dishes, and spring rolls. They also have a nice array of light fare, like soups, salads, and smoothies, so that you can leave room for dessert! From what we’ve seen, every location offers a well-round dessert menu, with treats like cheesecake, cookies, and local favorites, like flan.

Loving Hut isn’t a gluten-free restaurant chain, but they do label gluten-free and gluten-free optional items on their menus. You will also see labels for soy-free and soy-free optional. But their management makes it clear that they do handle some top allergens in their kitchens.

Our food is prepared & shared with equipment & surfaces that may contain traces of gluten, soy, or peanuts. We cannot guarantee our dishes to be 100% free of gluten, soy, or peanuts. Please inform your server of any allergies that you may have before ordering your meal.

Since it is a vegan establishment, everything at Loving Hut is dairy-free and egg-free. But it’s still essential to inquire with the staff if you have any cross-contamination concerns due to milk or egg food allergies.
