Mimi’s Cafe is a bistro-style restaurant chain that serves classic American comfort food. They offer brunch all day, lunch, and dinner, and even have their own bakery. Unfortunately, the dairy-free brunch items and dinner entrees are sparse at Mimi’s Cafe. But we’ve found a good selection of sandwiches, salads, and few other items for dairy-free diners.
Dairy-Free Menu Guide to Mimi’s Cafe
Mimi’s Allergen Menu is a little tricky to navigate, due to their erroneous uses of yes and no. But we managed to sleuth our way through and uncover just enough dairy-free menu items.
- Rye Toast
- Sourdough Toast
- Wheat Toast
- White Toast
Note: Mimi’s English muffins (and all other muffins) contain dairy.
- Two Eggs, Any Style, with Roasted Potatoes (can add Bacon)
- Citrus Salmon Salad
- Mandarin Chicken Salad (can sub Grilled Salmon or Grilled Shrimp for Chicken)
Dairy-Free Dressing Options: Thousand Island , Balsamic Vinaigrette, Honey Dijon Vinaigrette (or Honey Mustard Dressing), Red Wine Shallot Vinaigrette, Sesame Oriental Dressing, Fat Free Raspberry Vinaigrette
Note: Mimi’s Café lists their House Salad as containing dairy, but their Kids’ House Salad as being dairy free. Most of their salads can be custom ordered dairy-free by omitting the cheese and choosing a dairy-free dressing.
- Roasted Turkey Club
- Ham Baguette (no cheese – the new Parisian version has cheese)
- Tuna Baguette*
- Turkey Royale Baguette*
- Turkey Royale Sandwich*
Notes: All of the above can be ordered with French Fries. You can order a beef burger on sourdough, but their menu burgers all contain dairy. Their veggie patty also contains dairy.
*Their menu has been updated since their allergen chart was last updated. These items are not on their current menu, but you might be able to custom order them.
- Grilled Atlantic Salmon (choose from sides below)
- French Fries
- Long Grain Rice
- Roasted Potatoes
- Kids’ Side Salad
- Kids Grilled Chicken (see above for side selections)
- Kids Noodles with Marinara (see above for side selections)
