This October, Pangea Organics will be launching our first annual Beyond the Pink Ribbon campaign. This campaign is designed to inform consumers of the risks of breast cancer and to educate consumers about healthy alternatives that may help lower these risks. Beyond the Pink Ribbon will feature an educational campaign in stores like Whole Foods and Wild Oats which will highlight key ingredients in products from our partner companies that may reduce risk.
Partner companies include: Dagoba Organic Chocolate, Numi Organic Tea, LUNA, Sambazon, Lumia Organic, To-Go Ware. Participating stores include: Wild Oats Markets, Whole Foods Midwest, Whole Foods North Pacific, ABC Carpet & Home (A Leader in Socially Responsible Business), Berkeley Bowl Marketplace, Elephant Pharmacy and Rainbow Grocery.
One other key component of this campaign is our Beyond the Pink Ribbon fundraising event, which will take place the evening of Thursday, October 18th at ABC Carpet & Home in New York City. This event will feature an address from holistic oncologist, Mitchell L. Gaynor, M.D., founder and president of Gaynor Integrative Oncology College, an affiliate of Cornell University and New York Hospital. Attending this event will be natural products industry executives, press and celebrities.
